NMB Singapore Limited officially launched Safety Month 2026<\/strong> \u5728 1 July 2026<\/strong>, reaffirming our commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy and supportive workplace for all employees.<\/p>

Safety has always been a core value at NMB Singapore. As a manufacturing organiSation operating in a dynamic environment, we recogniSe that workplace safety is a shared responsibility requiring continuous awareness, engagement and collaboration at every level.<\/p>

This year\u2019s Safety Month aims to strengthen safety awareness across both our Chai Chee and Jurong plants\u00a0while promoting employee wellbeing and proactive risk management.<\/p>

Throughout July, employees can look forward to a series of activities and initiatives designed to reinforce safe work practices and cultivate a stronger safety culture.<\/p>

Key Safety Month Activities Include:<\/h3>
  • Safety Awareness Displays at both plants<\/li>
  • Safety Collar Pin Campaign<\/li>
  • Mental Wellness & Peer Support Awareness<\/li>
  • Chai Chee Day Shift Fire Drill<\/li>
  • CERT First Aid Course<\/li>
  • Healthy Living Campaign with hydration awareness<\/li><\/ul>

    In addition, NMB Singapore will conduct Key Safety Engagement Site Walkabouts, bringing together:<\/p>

    • Management representatives<\/li>
    • Union representatives<\/li>
    • EHS team members<\/li><\/ul>

      These walkabouts encourage direct employee engagement, safety feedback, visible leadership and stronger collaboration in workplace safety improvement.<\/p>

      Special focus areas this year also include:<\/p>

      • Hearing Conservation Programme<\/strong> to raise awareness on noise-induced hearing loss and proper hearing protection<\/li>
      • Accident & Incident Sharing<\/strong>, where employees can learn from past incidents and reinforce safe work practices<\/li><\/ul>

        At NMB Singapore, safety extends beyond compliance\u2014it is about protecting our people, supporting one another and ensuring everyone returns home safely every day.<\/p>
