NMB Singapore Limited officially launched Safety Month 2026 在 1 July 2026, reaffirming our commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy and supportive workplace for all employees.

Safety has always been a core value at NMB Singapore. As a manufacturing organiSation operating in a dynamic environment, we recogniSe that workplace safety is a shared responsibility requiring continuous awareness, engagement and collaboration at every level.

This year’s Safety Month aims to strengthen safety awareness across both our Chai Chee and Jurong plants while promoting employee wellbeing and proactive risk management.

Throughout July, employees can look forward to a series of activities and initiatives designed to reinforce safe work practices and cultivate a stronger safety culture.

Key Safety Month Activities Include:

• Safety Awareness Displays at both plants
• Safety Collar Pin Campaign
• Mental Wellness & Peer Support Awareness
• Chai Chee Day Shift Fire Drill
• CERT First Aid Course
• Healthy Living Campaign with hydration awareness

In addition, NMB Singapore will conduct Key Safety Engagement Site Walkabouts, bringing together:

• Management representatives
• Union representatives
• EHS team members

These walkabouts encourage direct employee engagement, safety feedback, visible leadership and stronger collaboration in workplace safety improvement.

Special focus areas this year also include:

• Hearing Conservation Programme to raise awareness on noise-induced hearing loss and proper hearing protection
• Accident & Incident Sharing, where employees can learn from past incidents and reinforce safe work practices
